Scope of works: Riverbank Stabilisation
It’s said a picture paints a thousand words…. This image shows exactly the problem our client was facing with the riverbank as it gradually eroded away outside her, and her neighbours’, properties.
Providing stabilisation materials and installing aquatic plants for revetment, we were able to transform this stretch of the river to its former glory. The coir rolls will not only stabilise the bank but will encourage aquatic habitat too.
As well as the physical planning, design, installation and planting, we also guided the client through all of the relevant and necessary EA Permit applications.
