Wildflowers

Flowering wetland native wildflowers for pond side planting compliment marginal and aquatic plants and encourage butterflies and birds.

They can be planted alongside a watercourse in marshy and boggy or damp ground.

As a general rule they are best planted at 8 plants per 1m2.

A natural effect can be achieved by massed plantings.

Wildflower species include: – Silene flos-cuculi,  Leucanthemum vulgare,  Sanguisorba officinalis,  Hypericum tetrapterum,  Lotus pedunculatus,  Achillea ptarmica and Dispacus fullonum.
