We have extensive experience in the planting up of ponds, lakes and watercourses with native UK provenance plants.
With the benefit of our knowledge, working closely with our clients we interpret their vision coming to understand what effect they are hoping to achieve with the planting whether it be the creation of a natural wildlife pond or a traditional lake.
There are many things to be considered when planting either a new watercourse or boosting an already established scheme including type of material you are planting into, water depth, whether the plants will be in the shade, partial shade or full sun, the height of the plants and the size of the plants to be used.
Having asked the questions, we are then able to make suggestions as to a variety of species we consider suitable along with planting ratios.
Once our client has selected and chosen the plants they would like, our team of experienced staff will install them on site at the optimum time of year to allow the plants to establish and mature.
Plants bring a watercourse to life not only enhancing the landscape and providing biodiversity and habitat for wildlife but providing visual enjoyment for the observer.
We are always delighted to talk about plants, we love them.
We are always very happy to share our knowledge, so if you are considering planting a scheme and you’d like some advice please get in contact.
